Stop Fighting Other People’s Wars

As the son of an Airman and a Marine, I firmly believe that American military intervention should be a last resort, reserved strictly for situations where our direct interests are at stake. The immense sacrifice entailed in putting American lives on the line must only be countenanced when our national security, citizens’ safety, or vital interests are unequivocally threatened. This principle guides our approach to military engagement, ensuring that the cost of American and civilian lives is never trivialized in conflicts that do not directly pertain to our nation’s core interests.
